The story

Akhene Press was born in 2024 from a simple observation: the world changes fast, but practical books haven't moved. Guides are still formatted like it's the nineties — dense, dull, disconnected from the realities of today.

We thought we could do better. Clear, well-built books that get to the point without dumbing things down. Books that respect the reader's intelligence while making things genuinely accessible.

And we wanted to go further than the practical guide. Because a good novel can shift a perspective too, open up a line of thought, make you see the world differently. So we also publish fiction — science fiction in particular — with the same demand for substance.

What we do

Educational collections that make complex subjects approachable: history, science, technology, economics, everyday life. Each collection has its own format and method, but the principle stays the same: we start from the reader, not from the subject.

Novels that explore ideas. At Akhene Press, fiction isn't a side project: it's another way of passing knowledge on.
